Hi guys,

Belssings to all

I have an issue i think. I sent my cr1 appl (I130) on June-28-07 but check this now. I now think i want the k3 to go through instead, that wait time for cr1 is too long . But what if the cr1 gets approved and the k3 is still pending which i think will happen because i sent it in over 3 mos ago. Will i be able to tell them to hold it until my k3 gets approved or will they tell me i have to go cr1 rte?. I know most ppl here are fiance visa but maybe someone knows that will see this. Please let me know what i can do i want to mail it on tuesday i have to take another photo and all to send it in any suggestions guys. The interview is taking 6mos plus, and then it sits at nvc for months at that this is what hold ppl its crazy. Everyday my sweetie is asking baby have u heard anything he does not understand this takes time and now he is changing his mind aby cr1, he just want to be here with me . It went from he wanted to work immed after getting here so he can take care of his family, but now his talks have changed...

You may have better luck posting in the CR-1/IR-1 forum.

Continue the process for BOTH visas and see what happens. They are completely different and separate visas.

James also has a shortcut up above in the FAQs and Guides for Cr1s to get through NVC faster. You should read that through because people say it cuts it down by three months on average.

Thanks i did read that some time ago, i decided to go k3, because of the nvc and interview wait time. i spoke to nvc today and they informed me that i can file the 129f now, and just email or call them and tell them i will go with k3. She said they will hold it and when my hubby arrives let them know so they can know what hapened and they will continue. Also i was told that both will get processed, but when they send info rgarding the cr1 if get approved before then just disregard and go with k3 filing info instead. Seems as f they are both getting approved around the same time the cr1 and 129f that is.Luckily i found this out before i had gone through nvc 4 cr1
