So basically Maryland is the worst state ever...


Had an issue with my SSN but thats a whole nother story..


So after going to the MVA like 15 times trying to prove residency in Maryland I finally got it transfer my license....


BUT....


In canada I had a commercial license and the lady said she would only issue me a reualr license.. So I just lost a license that cost me almost $1300..


I mean i can take the rad test and pass no problem but then I have to get a medical, re do my air brakes which i already had, and take a $100 hazmat course...


Maryland I give you two thumbs down.

Yea, I can relate! Sometimes regulations can get in the way of the right thing to do.

My fiancee' (Canadian) is in a similar boat...CDL licensed up the wazoo (air brakes, haz mat, FAST card, Nexus card, you name it) and was being told he can't drive Interstate after getting the K1...CPB agent told him it was "illegal". After some serious searching, I found out the agent was full of sh*t! Never quit asking, eh?
