I have a question regarding the vaccination records for the medical exam in Vancouver, Canada.

I'm pretty sure my husband hasn't had them in the past 10 years. He's 27, so I'm guessing he probably had them sometime in jr high or highschool? Do you have to have the immunization record, or will they immunize him at the medical exam?

Does your husband's parents have the little "immunization record book" from his baby vaccines and school vaccines? I have all my kids' immunization records from Canada (my oldest two kids are your husband's age).

You can just take those records to the medical exam with you.

I just noticed your husband is from Surrey. That's where my kids grew up. What high school did your husband go to? My sons are his age.

He actually grew up in North Delta (senior secondary I believe) but we lived in surrey at the time we started filing. We're in New West now.

They can do the required vaccinations at the medical, but you are likely to pay much more there. If you can't arrange a cheaper way to do it in advance or find any past records, it's fine to just have it done at the medical and pay then.

hello im 26 years old and just received my CR-1 visa. I don't have vaccination records ( had some done in school but records couldn't be found) when I had my medical I was given 2 vaccinations which the doctor said I could get the rest of the doses in the states. He said that was fine. On my vaccination documentation worksheet he ticked the box "applicant may be eligible for blanket waivers because vaccination(s) not medically appropriate" so don't worry its no drama.
