Can anyone tell me why my timeline is now JANUARY 14th? WHAT THE HECK IT JUMPED AHEAD 10 days in one day? Is it me or am I about to give up on even looking at it anymore?

As more people add entries to the system, it will change estimated dates accordingly. It is not an exact science.

Does it really matter at this point? I have another question anyway. I filed at the texas service center yet I am at CSC.. SHould I be watching texas 's times or californias times

Watch California times they will be more accurate. Texas can be slightly off when factoring in times when Texas used to process family based visa petitions.

You know, I have updated my timeline the other day, cause I had k-3 down instead of CR-1/IR-1 down. anywho. it gives me this info >>>>Processing Estimates/Stats : There is not enough data in the timelines to accuratley approximate when your I-130 will be approved.

What the heck? Gosh, there should be a better system......... and I don't like that uscis only updates once a month either...

It is just an estimating tool so don't take it for exact science.

Also some consulates have more people filing, and doing timelines so that the database has more data to base an estimate than others.

China has hundreds of timelines, so is quite accurate, but others do not have as many timelines, or the timelines are incomplete, so a fair guesstimate is not possible.
