From what I have investigated there are several October filers that have interviews at the end of Feb. beginning of March. . . .

We filed in October, got approved on Feb 4, had the interview on February 21.

We have been touched a few times recently but still no approval......some days I wish we would get RFE and make sure everything is in order

Hi everyone....Just wanna share OUR "roller coaster Packet 3-ride" to you guys...
Hmnn....we got the mail last 24th of January from NVC telling us that our papers was forwarded to the consulate already....SO happy with that! But there's almost like 4-days Karneval holidays after that so we waited,. Then Packet mail was still nowhere...: Called up the embassy 12th of Feb, and was told our packet 3 was sent to my way THAT day...again SO happy and getting more excited! so still waited another week and nothing showed up! Then called almost everyday this week to check, and cant get hold of somebody to talk to...so decided to send them a mail and an email...checking where my packet 3 is for 2 weeks now?????...and they replied via email that it was returned to them because of WRONG address.... BUT why can it be wrong??? or if so...why i wasn't informed??? since they all have the details, phone numbers, home and email addresses???...if we had not checked and kept on following them up...until now we were waiting for nothing.SIGHHSSS... Now, im impatient of waiting for them to resend the packet 3 and scared it might be lost again or wait another 2 weekssss? so asked them, that i have researched and downloaded the forms i need to send them back to be able to schedule for interview so if it is possible to send it their way even i have not received packet 3 yet...thank God they said YES... so mailed it to their office Right away...just WISHH ...we would be getting a schedule for interview soonn....

...and now back to waiting...

So any of you guys who just had their approvals out there and waiting for their packet 3...BETTER KEEP CHECKING!
For the rest who are still waiting...hope you get yours anytime SOON....

So, those of you October filers who are still waiting for NOA2...do any of you have an addiction to checking the USCIS website? I can't stop!!

I know I'm a late October filer but lately, I have been checking the uscis website at least 5x a day.
I'm more addicted to checking VJ (and also Igor's stats) for recent October approvals though....I'm on VJ almost 24/7.

So ya James did call them nice ppl of the USCIS today.........and was told (by some rude officer) that we're still in the normal Processing Timeframe and that all those October Filers that have sent their paperwork in after we did and recently got approved must have (all!) been expedited and if we could find out the case numbers he could look all of them up and could by then tell us why ,even though they have filed (up to 10 days after we did) after us have gotten approved.........

I know its gotta be frustrating especially when you see Dec/Jan filers being approved but hang in there. Yours should be coming soon. BTW, have u tried calling ucsis?

I call onec but i didnt try the RFE trick i dont know how much it will help at all unless i get lucky and get someone thats cool if not i may get mad at ther answer.

thats funny... My fiance still hasnt received not one package from the embassy. Not even the appt letter, and the appointment is Monday. lol You just gotta have faith with this system.

CSC received our I-129F on October 17, 2007. Our case was touched for the first time today (2/26/2008). Keeping fingers crossed...

Our case was touched for fhe first (official) time yesterday too. It's good to know that at least it's there and someone did something with it, even if they probably just took it from the big pile to someone's desk. I got all excited when I saw yesterday's date on the USCIS website

wall i called and they say my case is under review whatever that means i ask if its with a case officer and the lady say yes and that it take 30 to 60 days so i really dont know what that means.

My finance still hasn't received anything from Barbados. They said that the packet was mailed on the 7th of this month, and when I asked why it was taking so long they resent another one on the 21st.

St. Vincent is right next to Barbados there is NO reason it should be taking this long.

If we drink every time anyone waiting for an NOA2 checks the site compulsively, we will all be raging alcoholics and at least 60% of us may die of alcohol poisoning, but maybe something a bit less obvious. Every time someone gets an RFE for informaiton already sent or gets yelled at for using the RFE trick, take a swig (I need a drink!). Every time someone gets an approval, packet 3, or interview date, take another swig (Nazdrovia!).

If i remember correctly, I read on MIDUVIL's post that they waited 3 weeks for the mail to arrive - and they are IN Barbados. That's crazy. Well I hope you guys get your Packet 3 soon. Yes they sent it snail mail... but still it shouldn't take this long! Well I guess if they can't even get stuff to Barbados from Barbados we are all doomed to wait... Jene & Desland said that it took about 4 weeks before they received theirs.

I can send something to him from TX and it will be there in approximately two weeks; they have no excuse for this delay.

Oh Lawdy....that is definitely frustrating!!! You're right, there is no excuse for that. I wish they offer DHL service from the consulate...I would gladly pay them just so Packet 3 gets to my SO in a timely manner. The NOA2 wait is frustrating enough but to wait for mail from Barbados? That's just enough to set me over the edge.

I'll keep you guys posted when the time comes. In the meantime, I'll keep you guys in my prayers....I'm hoping your SO gets Packet 3 asap and get this process moving.
