OK so now I know how all those ppl feel that wait and wait and wait and then ppl that filed AFTER you did get approved...........We filed Oct 9th,someone from Oct 16th got approved............That just really made my weekend..........

I'm giving up hope to be in WA in time for the wedding date we had planned which would have been May 17th,our 3rd anniversery..........

In some ways this is where the wait gets the worst. Waiting with all your other fellow filers for the months that you wait together is hard, but at least you're all together. Then when you see those around you getting their approvals it kinda stings. Man do I know how that goes. But this is really where your mettle is tested. Hunker down and hang in there. This is the worst part of the wait but your approval WILL come soon!
As for your wedding date, you might want to check with your consulate and find out how far out interviews are being scheduled. The big variable will be how long it takes your approved petition to leave CSC. Sometimes it can take a few days, sometimes 3 weeks. So look to see how far out interviews are being scheduled, tack on 4-6 weeks, and that's about how long you can expect it to take from NOA2 to interview. I don't know how far out approvals are taking at your consulate, but May 17 is most likely not going to happen.

Doesn't hurt to find out though.
