Hello my fellow California Service Center filers...CSC has approved a couple of August filers in the last day or two...looks like they've finally moved past the July avalanche of filers (although quite a few of them are still waiting too). Our time may be finally coming!

That's what I keep telling myself and my SO. I know there are others before us that have been waiting much longer than us, but it's hard to sit and watch people move on while you have to sit still. . . here come the violins. . . haha

I see that the USCIS has finally updated their processing times to Jan. 15. It only took them 10 days to figure out which group of forms they are currently processing.

I hope things start to move soon.......I think they will. I was originally hoping that us October filers would receive our NOA2's by the end of February. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Good Luck to all!

Jeff USC, your post really brought me some good feeling! I was guessing we probably get the NOA2 in march or april, now I feel a lot better to hear u guessed it would be before end of Feb!

yeah..I hope this week will bring more approvals for october filers..Keep faith..
NO more approvel today seems that there done for the month lets hope not.
I got my NOA1 on October 10th 2007 for my I-129F. Got a "touch" today and the "date last updated" got changed to 01/28/08. I hope someone is looking at the petition now

Although i'm relieved to have received the approval, feel somewhat guilty that earlier filers are still waiting...So, I will keep my fingers crossed for them, and keep them in my prayers...

How does one know when the NVC has been sent from NH and received by the Embassy?

Thanks to all. We can only hope that the USCIS makes progress catching up from the end of July surge. People filing before the new fees took effect. I understand that's why they're so backed up.

No need to feel guilty. Well, not unless you've been calling the CSC nonstop so they will spend all day answering your phone calls and not processing our cases, anyway.

I see from looking at the timelines that Philip & Adelfa, who filed at CSC on October 3rd, have received their NOA2!! Congrats Philip & Adelfa! I am so excited, I think this is the first CSC October filer approved. I'm going to be checking the online system obsessively from now on!

There were few errors on I129F form..We didnt make it correct in a first place..

In my case, I didn't see any "touch" before NOA2.... It suddenly came! I was very nervous like you, but now I can tell you that you don't need to worry too much. Hope yours comes soon!
