Congratulations to part I of the wait being over for those granted their NOA2 approvals!! Especially those who filed in October because your leading the way!! 
We have not been touched since November 1st and we're getting extremely impatient but I would rather be surprised by my NOA2 approval in the mail than touched ever again - by USIS

Don't worry too much about being touched. According to what I've read, your file gets touched when it gets to someones desk. Most times it is approved in minutes or if they get a hit on your name for some reason it goes to another department. Even if there is a hit, I think it would be approved soon. Of course that is how I understand the process.
By the way for all you VSC filers, there was a 10/17 & 10/21 approvals on the 13th. I'm hoping they are getting closer to us late October filers. We'll see

Unless, of course, you're a CSC filer...which luckily, you aren't....CSC hasn't been cranking out as many approvals lately....don't know why.

There is still a huge chunk of us early Oct filers that haven't been approved yet (from VSC) . . . just sayin. . .since I was prepared for March for an approval, I am still not holding my breath for an approval anytime--keeps me from being disapointed daily. ..

There are still May, June and July filers waiting for approvals too.

Our date has pushed back out to March 27th and I think by Friday it's going to be April. It's really disheartening!!! looks like it will be six months - then another 4(ish) to interview leaving it as August when we get our visa and with a wedding planned, a house to sell here and flights to book and .... grrrrrrrrrr .... stress!!!!!

Yes, I agree. There are a lot of older filers still waiting. I'm not sure why that is. I've seen several late Aug. filers coming through CSC, so hopefully it won't be much longer for you all there. I know that some people get hits on their names, but I'm sure you'd have a touch if that happened. I have a suspicion that I may have a hit on mine because of my dad (Long story). Anyway, I think February for everyone from VSC, but we'll see what happens. I'm trying to be very optimistic....lol

I don't understand why CSC isn't pushing anything through. . . it makes no sense, holidays are over and everything should be full speed ahead at both service centers. . . but it goes back to my theory on CSC they are letting everything pile up and then gonna hit tons of people with approvals. . .
There is a system in place. I wore a uniform for this system once and everything makes perfect sense to me.
We were always trying to get united or reunited with our loved ones! (We were kept for extended periods of time away from them for reasons unknown to us… probably testing our patience or getting us toughened up)
We stood in long lines and did lot of ‘hurry up and wait’ there too. We busied ourselves with massive amounts of paper work in triplicate.
Also, if we spoke Korean, we were sent to Germany. If we spoke German, we were sent to Panama. If we were electrical engineers we were sent to language school.
So, if you file a K-1 and live in Michigan, it is most logical to send your application to California. If you live in Texas, you would naturally assume it should go to Vermont after they close the Texas facility to K-1’s.

I hope we see some CSC action this week and month. Eli the date is just an estimation, since there are no approvals from CSC or people aren't updating their timelines or the people who aren getting approved from CSC aren't members of VJ. I think it is 10-20% of all filers are on VJ. The computer takes recent info to come up with your estimate. So, if we start seeing approval, the date will move. I hear you though cuz it sucks to see it get pushed farther out.
Just got back from lunch and received approval email. Application has been approved. I can't wait to tell fiance......

I was not expecting before march either but i also was not expecting people in Oct to start getting approved in Jan either.Each time i see someone approved around the same times my dates i feel like why not me lol.

feel the same here...
sometimes i feel crazy about myself checking our emails how many times a day hoping a BOMBING news of approval is waiting there and just end-up with the heavy heart... 
.Have nothing against early approvals for others...(trying NOt to be jealous, well have our time..)..they are lucky and hoping we could be blessed like them...only thing is were stressed like crazy gathering the papers in order SOONEST we can... and seems like it doesn't matter if u are an early or late filer coz after all they pick out their approvals in random! waaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh were holding hard on to our sanity....

Hey guys its still fresh to me how i had been whining yesterday about feeling helpless of our approval... and so happy to share to you our great news. I used to check our emails a lot of times a day and today i woke up wit my honey calling me he got a notice on email that were approved! THANKS GOD..i screamed out. Its an undescribable feeling, so blessed for NO RFE's either as we fear that coz we dont have a separate Letter of Intent to Marry, My fiancee just write it for both of us..which is BIG THANKS TO THAT! We were only touched once since our NOA1,..and that is October 18...NO touches...no news....Nothing until today that were just surprise of the news ...So to all you guys out there..DON'T WORRY about the touches, it may or may not be touched often just like others...but APPROVAL NOTICE will just surprise you one day just like we had....So now will be preparing again for the next step....More research againnnnnn!!!

Congrats to everyone. I'm still hoping for some good news in January! 
I hope we're approved soon. It's so strange how they get through them. Not a touch since Oct. 24 and some cases with NOA1s after ours at the VSC are getting approved. Does anyone know if it's a sign of something wrong, or whether it's just in a slower worker's pile?

...So to all you guys out there..DON'T WORRY about the touches, it may or may not be touched often just like others...but APPROVAL NOTICE will just surprise you one day just like we had....So now will be preparing again for the next step....More research againnnnnn!!!GOODLUCK to all and praying for a speedy approvals for all. Dec. 15, 2006- Watched my friend's wedding video and noticed the bridesmaid. Found out she's single.
Dec. 16, 2006- Was introduced to Natasha via telephone call to Russia
Dec. 17, 2006 ~ July 24 2007 Phoning and writing to Natasha every day
July 25 - Aug 10, 2007- Went to Russia to meet her, fell in love on the 5th day, asked her to marry me.
Sept 28, 2007- Sent I-129F to CSC
Oct. 4, 2007- CSC received the packet
Oct 10, 2007- NOA1 issued
Jan 16, 2008- no touches, no 2nd NOA, ...... I'M GOIN CRAZY!!
