Lucians' second interview is today. I hope all is going well. No reason it shouldn't.

Hi everyone

We are October 2007 filers who were stuck with CSC till last night.
Our case was forgotten in the storage area.... Then, we received RFE for the passport style photos, which we did include with our original petition.......It was a long way till we get to this point....

But!!!! My fiancee finally received an e-mail approval notice last night.
NOA2 is on its way to his apartment.
We finally made it through this CSC nightmare.
There are only two more steps ahead of us till we can start to live together; NVC and U.S. embassy.
I hope the rest of the process goes quickly.

I just wanted to share my good news with you all.
Thank you so much to those who gave us advices and supported us through this CSC ngihtmare.
Without you, our experience with CSC could have been even worse.

Yea...we were still waiting for our NOA2. But, we finally got it.
My fiancee received an actual notice on Saturday in a mail. Yay Yay Yay!
We also hope that the rest of the process goes quickly.

Well, my fiance's visa is now with the courier which means the embassy has released it.. probably will arrive with her in a couple of days. I already have tickets booked to go to Philippines on the 28th and fly back with her July 4. very exciting

We're still waiting for the Embassy to send the DHL out. We got approved Wednesday and I just checked dhl today, it hasn't gone out. We're hoping he gets his visa in hand on Wed or Thurs this week so he can be here by this Friday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

How long did it take for your fiance to get his DHL packet?

It took 3 days - Interview on Tuesday and he got it Friday.
Hopefully they hurry up

Dangit, we got approved Wednesday and there's still no record on the DHL tracking that it's been sent out. I hope they hurry up too.

I hope that you are the last of the October filers still waiting for NOA2...

He didn't see any tracking info until that Thursday and it arrived next day. He should get it in a couple days max... With all the nonsense that they put you guys through you would think they would hurry up.

I emailed Monica Maxwell @ the embassy and she checked the status this morning. She said his visa should be issued today and will be handed to DHL by this afternoon or tomorrow. I feel better knowing that it only takes a day to get it by DHL. YAY!!! I'm soooo excited!!!

A quick update to my fellow October filers:

My fiance got his VISA IN HAND today!!! He's leaving first thing tomorrow and arriving home to me tomorrow night!!!

After all the uncertainties and drama we've gone thru.....we're finally closing our visa chapter. Now it's on to AOS next!

I've been away for a while. Just want to give a big CONGRATS to all who have passed their interviews and gotten their visas (Congrats, Lucians Girl).

My Natalya's interview is tomorrow. She is more nervous than I have ever seen her before. It's been a l-o-n-g year and a half. Tomorrow is the day. I think I might be just as nervous as her.

Anyone hear from Eli the Barrowboy lately? Boy, I really do need to catch up!

Hi, Tars. I almost never post in this thread anymore because it is too hard to find. ElitheBarrowboy's visa was approved, but I can't remember when it was so I'm not sure where he and Mercedes are now (probably busy getting ready to move or else unpacking).

Good luck with your interview! Natalya will do just fine and it will be over before you know it.

congrats to all filers that have recently received visas! Barry had his interview in London Tuesday and was approved! He received his visa in hand this morning...hopefully he will be flying home next weekend!

Congratulations, Lucians Girl. I wish the best for you both. As for me, my Natalya flies out of Russia on Sunday 13th. She passed her medical and the visa interview. She's both excited and very nervous at the same time.

I heard from Eli the Barrowboy. He'll be flying in to the US July 22.

It's been a long, sometimes harrowing, experience for all of us. But the wait is well worth it. Congratulations to all.

It's been a while since I've checked into the October filers thread, and I'm so happy to hear that everyone has finally succesfully worked their way through the K-1 process. It's just crazy how different the timelines can be for people who file at the same time.

Well I've been over here with my Chaddie for a week now.

It's going great and I've never been happier.

Still keep trying to get into the wrong side of the car however.

I couldn't believe how easy the whole POE thing was. I was at the window for only around 10 mins and that was it.
