My I130 is approved at at NVC, see timeline. My I129f is still pending. Should I cancel the 129 just in case it gets approved and NVC possibly use that as an excuse to stop processing I130.

You don't need to cancel the I129F. The NVC will not use the I129F as an excuse to stop the processing of I130. If your I130 has reached the NVC, there is no need to worry.
