I was wondering if anyone has driven to the US with their own car when they were moving over. Have you had any problems at the border?

A bigger concern would be the registration. Might want to check with the DMV in the state where you will be living.

Tryed to drive our Jeepney over but no luck!

My husband drove over our car with his mom and had no problems

Ya didn't have a rubber raft on which you could put the jeepney and use the wheels to drive paddle-wheels & prots, eh?
