Egypt just updated the interview schedules today and almost all of them are DV and alot don't have interview dates until Nov.

My SO's paperwork was recieved a week ago and still no interview date. I'm worried that things are going to take that much longer in Cairo because of the DV applicants.

I'm just wanting to get the interview over with so that we can enter AP and I can start bothering DOS Guess I never thought I would say that, but it means that we would be that much closer to getting a visa. We got our NOA2 in July, and it took this long to just get to this point.... I already want it to be over

You can check any month of the year and you will see that the majority of interviews in Cairo are for DV. Also, notice that Cairo takes care of applicants from various other countries regarding various kinds of visas.

Have you emailed the embassy about the interview? They received packet 3 back from us Sept. 2 and I emailed them on Sept. 5 to confirm receipt of the packet...but when they emailed back they told me the interview was Sept. 12! We never did receive packet 4 so in this case emailing the embassy is probably your best bet Good luck!

BTW if you email them and tell them to update the interview list chances are they won't update it, but they might also give you your date.

It took Medo and I 5 months to get a interview because of that DV Lottery and now that will probably hold up our AP even more

I did email them to update the interview list and it was updated today .... I also emailed them to confirm the receipt of the packet the day I saw DHL deliver it and have not heard back yet. I just hope they check their email soon !!!!
