I Think if i had a cold you couldn't keep me away.. i'd get a wheelchair and be propped up by crutches, and bring a puke bucket with me.. I'd be darned if i'd miss my date with Montreal smile.gif

Tee hee... but seriously.. I did have a raging cold when I had my interview.. by the time I got to my interview I had one flight canceled, a MASSIVE snow storm raging that threatened to cancel the flight on the date of the interview, we had just barely enough time to get to the Consulate (or so we thought at the time), by the time it all was over I had a raging stress cold, and on the flight back my ears felt like they would burst.. I went.. i figured it HAD to be done..

I would assume though if you were hospitalized or something a Dr.'s note would suffice to re-schedule.. but that's just MY logic (not the Consulates of course!)

thats what I was thinking will just go no mather how I feel , only thing that will stop me is being stepped on by a elephant ,waited way to long for this moment and this is the future of my life
but good to hear you can show up even with a cold or flue

Lona are you thinking they might not admit you to the consulate if you have a cold or flu?
vnoe
I had a cold when I went to my interview. I took lots of Sudafed and I was fine. They are not gonna refuse you at the door because you have a cold. You will be fine.
Well unless you puke on the interviewers work area...then that might be another story....j/k

I guess today I just feel a bit overwehlmed, I know they wont refuess me entrance cose a cold or flue ,
its just we have been waiting for this moment for 2 years ( from when we first got engadged and first talked about it 3 years ago)
now my son got the flue my daughter is coming up with it ,
am working on my wedding dress and getting things in boxes to move and and and ,
like I said just feel a bit overwelmed today i know i got to step back take a breather and if i catch the cold dont puke on the officer ( lol )
I usualy keep my fiance calm I guess today I have to practice what I preach ,
oh well I know I be better and more calm by tomorrow

thank you , I guess am trying to cover all the ups and downs and all the what if's
knowing they can denie someone by smelling alcohol that was consumed over 20 years ago
I dont trust them very much and just want to be prepared for anything while staying calm and positive , so thats probeply why I come up with lil silly questions to get answers of all the what if,
but thanks for the thumbs up yes.gif

Awwwwwww. I can empathize with you. *hugs* I know you're just trying to figure out some "what-ifs", but try not to get too overwhelmed. We're here though to help you through this process, so ask questions, or if you just need reassurance, know that we're here for you!

I would go even if I was dead at this point. I'd have someone wheel me in. I don't care how sick I was or how ANYTHING, I wouldn't miss my interview for anything.

Try not to get stressed lona because that will increase your chances of getting sick! I don't handle stress well at all and we were preparing for our interview and our wedding and had family over for almost a 2 week span all at the same time!! I thought I was going to die and I got sick 4 days before my wedding with a sinus infection!!!!

Luckily I got a Z-pack (you know..zithromax...i guess i call it a z-pack because we have such a close relationship during the year!!) and I was feeling okay. But when my wedding was over at midnight I was ready to pack it all in. I just wanted to go to bed and not wake up for a week!

Any ways my point is, don't worry babbyyy girlll! You will be completely fine and as long as you have all your ducks in a row, they won't contest a thing.
