According to the Office in DC the AP is done and they sent the results back to Lagos......They have told all we are waiting for is a phone call from the Embassy to call him back and pick up his visa.....(Depending on what the results say)...........Can you belive it???? Im now holding my breath waiting for the phone call from my Husband that they have called him......OHHHHHH I cant wait to hear that news from him........Keep watching for updates......Love to everyone......

I'm here waiting and praying with fingers crossed for good news! I read posts here more often than I read the local news... lol!

Im praying that our Ap is done......I have since called the Office in DC and now Im geting conflicting stories.....They cant make up their minds......When I first started calling the Operators that I talked to told me at lest 5 different times that the Security check had already started and then a few even told me that it was almost done.......Then on Wed of this past week I called and the person that answered the phone told me that it had not even started.......So I called back got a different operator and they said that yes if fact it had started......Called thursday and the same thing the first one said that it had not started then the next one said that it did.....Got to Friday and the first person I talked with told me that it was done and complete and already went back to Lagos...Went so far as to tell me that all we are waiting for now was a phone call from the Embassy ........Called again to verfiy and got told it had not even statrted yet.......What is going on with this office???? How can you get several different answers ?????? Which do I belive??? My next step is to call Lagos and find out what they have in their computer.......I am hoping and praying for the best......Will keep you updated........

What number in DC do you call to check and if your AP checks are done??? Please let me know what numner that is. Thanks

Ok here we go again ......
Called the DC office again the first time was told that they security check has been started but not completed........2nd call.......talkd to Chris.. I explained to him that I have called the office now many times and Im getting told different stories.....That the security check has not been started or that it is not complete.......He asked for the case number looked it up and said I dont know what they are pulling up on their screen but from what I see on my sceen it is telling me that they are done with the security check and back in Lagos......So my next move will be to call the Lagos Embassy tonight at 11:30 pm my time.....will keep you updated on the results......I am praying for the best......

Have tried and tried all night long to reach someone at the Embassy and can't get a-hold of anyone....they keep putting me through to a recording instructing me to leave an e-mail which I have left 6 of them with no replys........What do I do now?????

I've tried to e-mail that embassy before and 6+ emails were sent with no reply to any of them. I've never been able to get through on the phone either. Two suggestions:

1. If your SO lives in Lagos, have him go to the embassy to make an inquiry
2. Call your Senator and see if he can get the embassy to reply.
