Hey everyone. I was checking out the VJ CR1 timelines and noticed that the NOA1 to NOA2 seems to have a shorter amount of time in between them. This is great! Especially for those CSC filers. It seems that service center moves like a snail. I saw NOA's with only 2 months or less, in between them. This is amazing for CSC, they were ususally 3-4 months!

SO I am wondering if anyone else in noticing this trend. Maybe its a sign of the new Embassy in JA?
Does anyone have any advice to us newbie filers in getting a similar short run NOA?

In any case I will continue to pray this trend continues and congrats to all you halfway or more in your process. heart.gif

What you say may be true, and I know the estimate on my timeline says I should have gotten noa2 early September.

But, reality strikes, and I don't have a NOA2.

I mailed my I-130 on May 31, and my noa1 date is June 15.

So, I don't know if the numbers presented are off, or if I am just the unlucky one.

The Embassy has nothing to do w/USCIS. It just depends on the workload the at service center. Some adjudicators can process a file in less then 15 mins when others take longer. I always say to send as much as possible w/the initial application (esp couples going thru JA) it will prepare you better for the interview.

Yeah I have to wait until next year when I graduate and have a nice job. smile.gif

So are you leaning more towards staying here or moving to JA?

Well that is the million dollar question! My plan was to go back to JA to visit in December, so now I have made that my deadline to figure out what I am gonna do. I am working now, but I am contracting out my services so I am not a permanent employee to anyone. Thats a good and bad thing. So if I can secure a job, and rent out my house, I am outta here!!! And then we will just file DCF or whatever while I am in Jamaica. After a year, come back here. At least in this situation, we are not apart while we are filing. We both realized after this last time I left, that we CANNOT live apart all this time.
