Mum called early (really early) this morning and was all excited about getting her interview letter. I am busy setting up my flight so I can go with her and then help sort our her affairs and bring her home about a month later. She was reading through the papers and she said something about "If you need assistance (interpreter or aid) please let us know as soon as possible and let them know to bring their passport for id purposes. Does she need to let them know I will be going with her as she doesn't need help walking, talking etc. just moral support. She is also very scared to go down to London on her own and at 71 who can blame her smile.gif

Any help would be much appreciated.

I accompanied my wife (fiancee at the time) to the embassy in Warsaw when she interviewed for K1 visa. We didn't notify the embassy in advance. At the entrance, they simply asked me to show the US passport.

Congrats!!! and GOOD LUCK, hope everything goes smooth,

i believe you can e-mail embassy asking permission to go with her, but actually letting them know you will come anyway

if no new terrorist alert appears - i have read many K3-k1-cr1 interviews - they usually let petitioner-US citizens to go with beneficiary-applicants inside for interview
