Hi,

I arrived in the US a week or so ago, and moved straight into a new apartment with my fiance. On all our K1 forms, however, we had put her parents address as the place we intended to live - and we can receive mail there, but i assume we need to inform USICS of our address change.

As we have not applied for AOS yet, however, we do not have a case pending at the moment, so does anyone know if we both need to change address on the USICS website, or if putting the new address on our AOS forms will be enough? Anyone done anything similar?

thanks

you need to change your address on the site and put the new address on the forms....

QUOTE
If you are not a U.S. citizen, changing your address for legal purposes does not change your address on any application or petition pending with USCIS and changing your address on a pending application or petition does not meet the legal requirements of informing USCIS of your change of address. You will need to do both. For most cases, you can now do both at the same time on our website using the Electronic Change of Address tool (available under "Related Links" on this page).
