i am just learning now that i can get EI while i am in U.S. I already had a claim open in canada before i moved to u.S 2 weeks ago. I filed one more time when i got here but was not sure if i were allowed to do that or not. Anyway, i figured i would just not file again.

BUT now apparently i can continue my EI. I never informed them i was moving to U.S on k1 etc..........I just figured they would stop my EI. What do i need to do now? and i already filed for a check last week, will I get in trouble for that. what number do i have to call? thanks for info

As others have stated in the other EI threads on the same page, LOOK at the top of the canada page and click on the EI thread, phone #'s are there
