I wanna be lazy today. I was lazy yesterday but I'm already back in bed and the lptop is actually on the bed with me so I guess I'll just stay here today. Thats my big plan for the day. (OK, I wish)
I invited some of his family here for supper so at some point I will have to move...
Actually now that the sun is out I should go deal with my car. Around 4am it wouldn't start (yesterday I had a new battery put in so I thought it was fixed) and I didn't want to jump it in the dark. I need to go jump it and go get it lookd at. VJ first, though.

draggin this morning trying to get ready for the bank....yesterday i worked my part time job at applebees, so needless to say after 8 hours of walking back and forth from table to table...IM EXHAUSTED! this week im transferring to a different branch, where i will be a member of management....I cant wait...its a huge pay increase from a bank teller.....


as warm and rainy as it was here yesterday in chicago....its quite chilly this morning....i guess im in complete denial that winter is coming.....oh well right.....winter means thanksgiving, my birthday, and christmas.....My 3 favorite days!! lol....

hope everyone has a great wednesday.....good luck to everyone waiting.....and those getting ready to head out overseas...

my heart is breaking , my dog is geting worse and has not responded to treatment. Her case has stumped every vet so far and without over a 1000 dollars in diagnostic tests there is little more than can do. I feel so sad really. I have had her only 4 months but she has helped me so much find any level of peace during this process. Its funny jut wnhen you think oh man I can't take ANYMORE life says sure you can just watch what I can do...

I've been really lazy today and slept in, but I've gotta go to work in a few hours. Eck the unfortunate side of working in the food/hotel industry is the totally bizarre hours.

Kelly- good job on the promotion!!! It seems like you just posted about this new job at the bank...I'm glad thats going well for you. I hope the promotion means you can finally tell applebees to stick it. I thought you had already...but good for you for moving up

Water, so sorry about Lucy. I wish I could say something more helpful.

I know no words can help at this point but try maybe to think of the love that you gave her these past few months and that that was more love than she would have received had you not taken her in. You have made her life so much better than it was and that in and of itself is a blessing for her.

Water, I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. I'm wishing the best for your dog's recovery. Just make her comfy, and i'm sure she knows she's much loved.

Lunch, yeah. I'm sure he'd like that..... more like give him his phone charger and a quick status briefing on the car (while supportively hiding my coffee cup). He was here all of about 45 seconds. I just put Mac down for her nap as soon as she's sleeping good I'l be back on the phone.

I feel your pain Been there with sick animals. I hope that your dog can make a recovery, but if not....that she will not have any more suffering.

I don't know if I can make this sound right...but maybe this means things are going to be changing for you soon. Somehow people and things just get sent to you when you need them. Maybe she was deliberately sent to you to keep you company and sane while waiting this out....which she did. I'm sure you are making her comfortable and she knows it. I just feel so bad for you about this
