I work freelance, so I've had LOTS of jobs over the last 5 years (and 10 years for the DS-230). The space provided on the form will take me back only about 1.5 years. Should I attach the remaining info on another piece of paper, or am I to understand that they just need my 5 most recent references or something.

Attach a supplement is always the proper course when you need more room to fulfill the requirement of the information request.

its 5 years. so attach an additional sheet.....don't forget to sign & date the additional sheet. and any other supplement you submit..

Five years is correct and yes, use a separate sheet if needed. Some people who work freelance and use an agency are actually employed by the agency, not the place they do their work. If this applies to you, then you only need to list the agency. Perhaps you are a self employed Consultant of some sort. If so, you can simply indicate you are self employed as an XXX and give dates. Perhaps this appies if the first doesn't. If neither, separate sheet it is.

Thanks Guys, I have worked for some agencies, and I know I have to list the agency rather than the people I actually worked for, but even taking that in to account I have a ton of previous employers. So I suppose I will refer to the additional sheet on the last line of the job space on the form.

There is an example form for the K-1 application, and then for K-1 AOS, but none for CR-1.

I know this is a stupid question, but in the tick box 'this form is in connection with an application for: 1) Naturalisation 2) status as a permenant resident 3)other

Huh -- in my ignorant, pre-VJ days, filling out the G-325A I ticked number 2. Since we didn't get an RFE for the G-325A, I wonder just how closely they look at that form... But in retrospect, 3 definitely looks like the right choice to me!

Thank you all for your patience, maybe i would be able to figure these things out, but the cost of a mistake is sooo high, I just need to ask if i'm not sure.

The final bold box with Applicant written in large letters, who's details go in there?
1) Mine on both, as I'm the non-USC
OR
2) Who ever the form is for (me on mine, him on his)

BTW, some of the boxes didn't have enough room for me to fill in the details I needed, so I adjusted the form so it has smaller writing, is there anyway I can post it somewhere so that other people can have it? Maybe I need a Mod to do it for me.

I now see that they referred to the 'applicant' all the way down, so the final box refers to who ever the form is for (option 2 on my previous post)

why all the repitition I'll never understand. What's wrong with asking all the info they need on ONE form thus combining 1-30, G-325A, DS-230 and I-185, and then give a copy to whoever needs it.

because the G-325a is used in other petition combinations, like when you adjust status once in the US Oh, and because your suggestion somewhat makes sense, which flies in the face of USCIS reality

Oh, and don't forget to print off the four copies of the G-325a, because this form does get split off and sent in 4 different directions. So that means 4 copies of your attachments as well.

Yes making sense would be a big problem, like one form for IR-1/CR-1, one form for K-1, one form for AOS. Now that would be crazy.

Since i'm filing DCF in the UK, I only submit one of the pages of the G-325a for each of us, I believe cos they do the whole thing in London. Just in case anyone's reading this from the UK

No you just need to give them your references for the past 1 1/2 years. don't worry they'll ask you more questions about your past later!! good luck
