Yeah I knew I had to change the address with the Provincial, the Federal, the RAMQ, etc, etc. But I waited "Just in case". Just in case something went wrong, just in case I would panick and go back, just in case he would kick me out due to too much time on VJ... whistling.gif

Of course life has never been so wonderful so I proceeded with the official change of address this morning.

So Canada Revenue has plenty of 1-800 numbers on their website. Of course they all say that "this number is not available in your area" and then "dial 1-800-267-5166". And of course that one doesn't work and sounds like a busy tone.... mad.gif

So how the hell are they expecting us to reach them outside of Canada is all they provide is 1-800 numbers....I mean I am willing to pay the long distance fee for 5 min but they don't provide any numbers. Last resort is to call my mom and have her call them to ask for a number.

Has anyone sucessfully called Canada Revenue outside of Canada ?

Thanks

You can do it if you apply for an epass (online login info) at

http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/eservices/tax/ind...unt/menu-e.html

or you can call 1-800-267-5177 from anywhere in the US or Canada.

hope this helps,

A

Do you have your assessment envelope from your 2006 taxes? I think there's a change of address flap on the envelope if you feel like mailing it in instead of doing it on the phone.

You have to keep calling...i work in the Tax field and it is ALWAYS busy. After about your 12th call you will get through. be prepared to hold for about 5 min.
