finally, our visa's been approved. We've been waiting since May 5th for the NAO2 and today after using the RFE trick I got an email, about an hour after calling, saying we'd been approved and everything was in the mail. Yay! Now it's just the little that's left on this side and the interview in London. With luck maybe my fiance will be here by Thanksgiving! Or Halloween!

It was transferred to CSC. But I highly recommend calling. It was uncanny how soon we got the approval after we called.

Was your NOA1 from June or is that just when you finally received it? What is the date you have on it? I'm going to assume you aren't a June filer, rather a May filer. In any event, congratulations.

Early May NOA2.....few more weeks and perhaps June will start being worked on. When that happens I can finally start thinking it will be that much closer for July.

They received our package May 5th, but we didnt actually get the receipt in the mail till June because they had some problems with the receipts at that time. We filed at the Texas Service Center but it was sent to California. I really recommend using the RFE trick if you think it's about time for yours to come in. Best of luck to everyone. It will come in, just be patient. ha ha, the other day I was crying saying how it would never come and something must have happened to it. Well, it came.

The RFE trick is a way to obtain information about your status. From what I have seen, it does not get you approved any faster. If you look at peoples timelines when they use this trick, they are will within their time to get an approval anyway. Sometimes when they call, they find out they are approved but USCIS has not posted it on their e-mail account yet. Believe me, if it speed up your approval times, none of us would still be waiting.

what i know, thoes whom people on uscis 800 phone.. they are doing the seam ... checking our case number from uscis.gov! thats what they said, we check cases from uscis.gov website... is there any other ways so we can check our case?
