I had my biometrics on Friday and have just checked the case status online.

In the "Application Type" it has CR189....would that be correct or should it be I-751?

Here is what it says...

Receipt Number: WAC0000000000

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On August 15, 2007, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I hadn't applied for a CR189...so now I am feeling a little confused. lol

If anyone could shed some light on this it would certainly be helpful. Thanks.

Came up with this!

The center has started a new procedure with respect to I751 from July1 where in the I751 information is data entered into the MFAS system as they have always been but will not issue the familiar MFAS receipt notice. At the same time I751 information is also entered into CLAIMS receipting system as a CR189 which states that an I751 is received. The information on the receipt notice regarding the extension of status, employment, and travel authorization remains the same. Using the automated scheduling system the applicant can be scheduled for biometrics. Shortly after approval of the I751 a new I551 card will be produced.
