Well, barring a total closing down of the post office, my fiance has put our application for the I-129F in the mail today! I'm so excited. It's just a little step forward on the way to being with him forever! I really can't wait. So, finally, after months of browsing this website and forum, I feel like I can finally contribute and be a full fledged member! YAY!

Funny huh?! It seems that all I'll be doing for the next 6 or 7 or, god forbid, 8 months! I'm trying to be patient already but man is it tough. So close but so far away all at the same time! I'll be happy when all the travelling back and forth is over, that's for sure.

So, I'm a September filer. I thought for sure I'd be a July filer, and definitely an August filer, if not in July, but that was not the case. Oh well! ~giggles~

Heh, me too. Except I will PROBABLY be a September filer (when fiance is here later this week!) and we always planned to file this month but originally thought it would be right after our trip to Minnesota Labor Day weekend (yeah, okay, I know it's weird to have a romantic weekend in the Twin Cities....).

When I got home from work yesterday he told me, while cringing I could hear, that he hadn't mailed it. He'd been in such a hurry to get out of the house in the morning that he forgot it. He assured me that he had it ready this morning when I talked to him and that he'd send it by courier when he went to the post office at lunch. SO, again, I'm hopeful that it went today and will be received later this week!
