I met my fiance online in September of 2006. We met in person in May of 2007 and spent a month together. It was a great time. We really connected online and our time in real life was so special because we new each other so intimately already it was like second nature being together. I had to meet his family and go through a bit of a gauntlet. But they have accepted me and now I'm family. They call me and check on me and I'm already considered a member of the tribe. So when we get married, it'll be purely to satisfy the powers that be.
I filed the I129F in June 2007 and have just been waiting. 
Which really has been a tortuous ordeal. I didn't realize just how impatient I was until I was told, Okay, now wait! 
I've been going bonkers. I'm glad I found VJ because I'm finding so much information and people to commiserate with who are going through the same thing. I miss my sweetie very much and hope that he'll be here soon. 
Waiting is hard work, thank goodness for VJ to help pass the time and point me in the right direction to get things done as efficiently as possible. So that's my story in a nutshell. Sorry I didn't introduce myself sooner.
