My husband is army, and we were married abroad. I have heard something about them moving my belongings to the US for me b/c we were married overseas. Has anyone had experience with this?

I don't have experience with the American military, but if it's anything like the Canadian military the move will be paid for from his last posting. So unless he was posted to your home in Canada then it's unlikely they'll move your belongings. But that's just the Canadian DND. Have him ask the guys who handle the US military moves. They may be able to get creative. innocent.gif

My husband is US Military too. I heard the exact same things from several people. If your belongings and household goods are in Canada, then NO, they will not move them for you. Now, if you are overseas or where ever with him, you might be able to put some of your belongings in with his stuff when he comes back stateside (they have a certain weight limit). But the stuff in Canada, no.
