They normally dont ask many questions,it s a VERY quick interview. Questions:

How you met?
What your spouse does in the USA?
What are your plans for employment?
Where do you reside now?
When do you plan to move to the USA?
When is the wedding? (k1)
Ever been denied entry into the USA?
Fiance/wife Birthday?

They can really only ask you questions and know the correct answers on whats on the forms you provided!! The don't have people stalking you,lol For the majority of cdns its a very quick interview, short and sweet, and yes there are exceptions!!

They asked me why my fiance moved from New York to California for 24 years ago and also when was his sons birthday.
His son lives with him.

A few triggy questions I think

Once the interviewer found out we got engaged during the second time we met in person, she gave me a look and started asking me if I had met his family, if he had met my family, etc. I was about to pull out the pictures of when Jerry and his parents came up together to Nova Scotia and met my folks, but I didn't have to. The rest of the questioning was pretty much in line with what flames has posted.

Another person who interviewed the same day I did told me that once the interviewer found out his fiance had a son, he got questioned about his relationship with the son -- ie. have you met, do you have a good relationship with him, etc etc. He whipped out the pictures of their trip to Disneyland, and the interviewer seemed to be satisfied with that. He was also questioned a bit about his "criminal history" while going to school in Texas -- I think it was a speeding ticket, nothing huge. Again, he had the documents to show that it wasn't a big deal and the interviewer was satisfied.

My point in telling you all this is that it may seem that preparing all the extra evidence of your relationship is a big waste of time, giving Montreal's interview reputation, but having it on hand may come in handy. In my humble opinion, even though Montreal is pretty slow right now, it's a fairly simple and straightforward interview and a good consulate to deal with.

My husband's interview was five minutes...two questions about me. He went through MTL.
Tinker
He asked me

How did the two of you meet?
What kind of bike?
Does he have the same one?
How much would he charge to build one for someone else?
Is he keeping the one he has?

Thank you, you've been approved

LMAO
Shoulda sent Jim

well if they ask why he moved from jersey to mass , easy answer job transfer and to be closer to me .

since I cant answer any bike questions , lmao just kiddin
but seriously sounds like its goin to be a smooth ride trough the interview we been together since 3 1/2 years so no worries there
( but sure am glad am canadian resident , heard some horror question at interviews from other contries , like whens the first time you had sex , when I read that was like omg now thats not an interview thats like sexual harrasment wacko.gif )
