Can anyone recommend a good way to obtain a birth certificate for my spouse who was born in England and resides in Canada.
I've come across this website through my own research, is it any good?

Best way and the cheapest is to call the registars office in the town or city where she was born and ask for mailing instructions.... this is what I did and all I had to do was write my request giving my full name at birth, the date and place and my mother and fathers names... I had to include a check or credit card # for the payment... I got the certificate within 2 weeks....

I used an online service such as the one you listed, took about 2 weeks to arrive.

With a little more research I was able to find the official government site where you can obtain them online.
