Ok so WOW what happened yesterday on Easties! I haven't watched it religiously since April 05....so it's still a bit difficult getting to be in the swing of things....but hey, I'm dedicated!!!

Hah! Me, I watch it. Did I just say that in public? Not every episode, but at least once a month to keep up with it. After about a year here, a lot of people were saying I was developing a "twang" to my accent. So, what better way to cure it? Watching Easties of course.

Funnily enough the whole time I was in the UK recently I didn't watch any telly. But now, back a few days, still tired and grouchy, I went for the best cure: Easties and a few G&Ts.

So blimey o riley, what the heck is going on with Ian and Jane? Is it really her or is it another plant by who is actually doing it? They showed that shot of Jane looking a bit dodgy but it wasn't that subtle if it is her.

No spoilers before new episodes please!



Edit to add: What am I saying? As if there is anything subtle in Eastenders.

I left when Ian and Jane were just starting off..her hubby was still in a coma. When I started watching with the slingbox, there's a whle new cast it seems...and I saw Ian and Jane and was like 'yayyyyyyyyyyyy!'

now they're making her out to possibly be this stalker, and I hope that's not the case!!!

Hi my fellow Eastenders addicts, im male 38 from london as lisa D knows, we have spoken a few times on here.
I love Eastenders, Emmerdale and corrie, sad i know but there we go im a member of uknova and i watch it on there, i think that its too easy for it to be Jane who's playing with Ian's mind, it has to be someone else, who i dont know, but it will be fun to see who ?
Corrie is exiting at the moment what with David being an ###, Bethany taking an 'E', Hayley and her son etc.

1 - Stephen - Cindys eldest son, remember she tried to pass off as Ians when was in fact Simon Wicks!!
2 - Peter - The just too sensible and innocent looking son!!

3 - Nick father of Cindys youngest, maybe he blames Ian for never gettin to be with Cindy and his daughter!!

So I watched it last night. Exciting stuff... but somewhat anti-climactic as I have no clue who it was being 'revealed' at the end.

I missed out a few months here and there.. have I missed something or is it someone we don't actually know?

Yeh I must admit I have no friggin clue who it was. It was a fab episode though.

OK, I just looked up who it is. It's Steven, Cindy's son. How dull.

Think I'll wait for the next big story to come up before I bother to download again. It always goes a bit flat after they reveal things like that.

OK I got a question - I am still here in the UK and waiting to sell my damn house and im gettign so close to my 6 months on the visa anyways - I am gonna miss Eastender so much - I know they used to run it on BBC America but the old episodes - how are you all watching it now? I will be moving to ohio.

The only two problems are that it takes up the bandwidth of wherever it is...and it needs to have a dedicated cable box. I wanted to hook it up to our sky box in the UK, but that would mean that D would have to watch what I watch or vice versa. So D got a slingbox that has freeview in it...it's not hooked to our sky...so he can watch what he wants, and I can watch what I want.

And if you come here...you can give the box to someone to hook up to their net...but if they do a lot of stuff on the net, the broadcast will be slow and choppy if they're on the comp at the same time, and their net will be slow too.

But it's AWESOME and I highly recc it to anyone!

ok a bit confused - i am currently in the UK but i want to e able to watch eastenders or atleast catch up on whats happening when i finally move to usa (Ohio) how would this work - i wont have a place here in the uk to set it up on? no popint asking family cuz they are not happy about me moving to states as it is - so no support there:(

Just out of interest, what has been happening recently?

I'm not so sure exactly most of the characters are new to me.

Phil's back...his kid looks like harry potter...the slaters are nowhere to be seen....ian and jane are married now, but he's being stalked by his stepson....pat is still wearing her awful earrings and still putting her nose in everyone's biz....erm, that's all I can relate to so far iirc....

Lots of new faces and storylines....but I'm not familiar with them at all.
