i mean, with what we're paying for all this with the new fee increase,....isn't that meant to mean that they are going to hire more people to get things done quicker???
Kez/JWolf
They say it will...... but they have to hire the new staff and then train them, so I guess for us it will not be much quicker..

It may result in shorter times maybe a year or so from now...

But on their site it doesn't show they are hiring for positions yet... so maybe they need to collect a couple billion dollars from our forms before they even put out an ad for an open position. Maybe people a year or 2 down the line will reap the benefits from the $$$ we had to fork over.

It appears they have openings for 95 ADJUDICATION OFFICERs nationwide. The jobs are not listed on their site like most federal job opportunities they are listed on usajobs.com It doesn't seem like enough but I guess it's a start.

We file to remove the conditions for hubby's green card in December for March. I have my fingers crossed that the back log has cleared. I've started my pile of docs and although I'm sure we have enough proof, since our house is deeded in both names and we have two joint bank accounts, joint medical and homeowers insurance. BUT just to be safe. I just asked the home heating oil company to change the account from just my name to both our names. tongue_ss.gif

The jobs were spread all over the country and were not in the Service Centers but looked to be in the local offices. The really odd thing I did notice was the job listing date was 9/17/07 and the closing date is 9/21/07 not giving potential applicants much time to prepare an application. whistling.gif
