Helllo,I have a unique situation. Found out on Captain Ewok's affadavit of support tips, that if petitioner receives gov. benefits and not working the visa may be denied. I have a solid co-sponsor, and household has way enough income for support. Ihave been certified with a permanent disability since 1997, by my neurologist, state and SSI independent doctors.I receive 14,500 a year and have medicare.I have retained a lawyer, and he tells me these are isolated cases. Will the CO.take into consideration my yearly SSI statements, affadavit from household members who are not co-sponsors,or doctor letters? Should I get a clearence from doctor to at least work part-time if possible? Or maybe self-employment? Anyone know of similar situations or can help with advice? Sent petition on 07/20/07, received NOA1 hardcopy on 08/16/07. VERY WORRIED. :help
