QUOTE(moondoggy @ Nov 8 2007, 07:51 PM)

I submitted My I-129F to the California service center in mid September.
I have not heard a word from them, no NOA1, no recipt number, and
they have not cashed the check. The USCIS web sit says for I-129F apps,
at the California Service Center, they have processed are up to
October 16 applications. I have called the service number 1-800-375-5283.
They give me no help. They cant tell me if they lost the application and will
not look to see if it was mixed up with another group of apps. When I ask what
I should do they have no answer. Is anyone else in this boat? Does anyone
have any suggestions?
Thanks
Mike
Well you guys must have luck on your side. The day after I posted my check
got cashed, and today I received my NOA1.
I submitted mid-September. I have seen several mid-September filers who are just
now receiving NOA1, so they must be catching up. Have faith people!!!
Thanks to everyone for all of your support.
Cheers

Don't quote me on this but I think that it varies from country to country. For example, & again don't quote me on it but I talked with a Mexico K1 filer and the person told me that there is no packet 3 or packet 4 for Mexico. Can anyone verify this because it has been a while since I had the conversation & maybe I understood him incorrectly.

I believe that is true. The Philippines I believe only gets a packet 4.

I created a user id today in uscis.gove site. Then the site asked me to log on. Once I logged on, it said that I am not authorized to logon. Disconnect now? Should I be worried?

hey guys... were new here
anyways.. we sent our K1 docs at CSC last September 5. They received it September 6.
We got our receipt case number just this week (through the hotline operators), we checked our case status online and it says that they received our papers November 2. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!!

its stated in the uscis website that they will honor the exact date that the k1 was received in their mail room. now why is it November 2? we called the customer service again and theyre saying that whats posted in the site is wrong!

can't believe these people.. but oh well, at least we have a case number... something to look forward too.
now waiting for the hard copy and for the check to be encashed.
good luck and god bless us all!
I have a very similar timeline. My package was received on Sept 6 at CSC, and cash was checked on Nov 2. When I signed online it said the same thing. But when my NOA1 Hardcopy arrived it showed the correct receive date. So no worries. It should be fine. No worries!
Congrats to all those with NOA1 and NOA2! That is crazy....Nice to know the ball is rolling for Sept Filers!
really? okay thats good news.. thanks

Let's see if we can get some more NOA1's this week! I know a lot of us are still missing it. In fact, tomorrow marks 7 weeks (49 days) since our petition was delivered to CSC, and no NOA1.
I keep checking my bank account for the deposit. Everytime I see money missing, I am momentarily excited because I think it might be the check for USCIS... but nope, just rent or something else. SIGH.

Heh, I did the same thing. Check bank account, see a different balance, squeal like a little schoolgirl, then sigh as I realize it's only a check cashed by PG&E.

Yup, I definately am. From looking at the timelines of recent NOA2s, at least 10% are july.

Interestingly enough, the Julys are even at CSC... but granted they are working on late May too.
I think things will start moving quickly. In another post, I counted the number of filers by month and august and september were dead. About 70 VJ filers for these months, vs around 200 for the months leading up to and including july.

My heart goes out to you and other September filers who have not received NOA1 yet. I know sick it can make you feel. I don't think they'll lose your petition. I have not heard anybody's package has been lost. It's just that they don't file our petitions in any logical way. It's frustrating, but hang in there. your turn should come soon. I believe that you will finish filing all September filers soon.

Since this thread has floated down to page 3 as of late, I thought I'd share some optimistic observations.
- June filers are over half complete.
- July filers are starting to see more approvals. This is good because...
- While there are 183 July applications, there are only 37 August applications and 39 September applications. Hopefully this means that once the bulk of the July filers are taken care of, August and September will go fast. (I am operating under the assumption that VJ applications track roughly percentage-wise to actual applications.)
- My estimated adjudication date moved up from Feb 21 to Feb 19. So the pace seems to be picking up. A lackluster approval rate from last week may offset that, but the overall trend does seem to be improving.
- Most importantly: someone brought brownies to work today and I managed to get one before they were all gone. That never happens. It is an omen of good things to come.
For those September filers who haven't seen NOA1 yet, don't lose hope! You won't lose your place in line when they finally do get around to notifying you. Hang in there, we are all rooting for you!!

Hey Mox - love your thoughts... and I concur... my "estimated" date dropped two days as well... LOL... now if it can do that each and every week, then I MIGHT just see my NOA-2 either very very late January or sometime in February... which will be FAR better than March LOL...
I do agree once they start moving that backlog of June/July that those after that "should in theory" be processed faster... but then I suppose the NVC will have the backlog instead... GRRRRRR... no fun in this game is there...
have a GREAT day and GOOD LUCK to all those waiting on NOA-1's they WILL come through soon I am sure.

I didn't really beleive you until I went in and started looking at them. It's great, but they are also a bit out of order. Two are from Cuba and I've heard they get expediated processing because of some special conditions of the embassy. All 7 are VSC of course.
Still, I'm surprised. Of 89 persons on record for filing in september, 7 have NOA2. That's nearly 10%! Looking at august, I think I saw 1 person with NOA2. Congrats to those who have gotten it.
