129-F Package Received in the CSC mail room September 13th, 2007.
From USCIS Website
Date Received in Mailroom USCIS will honor the actual date that an application was received in our mailroom; this date will be indicated on the receipt (in the Received Date box) when Form I-797, Notice of Action, is mailed. You can see a sample Form I-797 under "Related Links" on this page. If your case is affected by the receipt delay, arrival of your receipt may take up to 12 weeks for adjustment-of-status applications and 15 weeks for naturalization and other applications.
This is what it says for my online status: On November 1, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.
Now I know they actually received our petition at the CSC on 9/13! Will I be getting a notice shortly in the mail that will have something close to the 9/13 date or will they be going by the November 1, 2007 Date?!?!?!?!

They should honour the "received" date as the date it was actually received at CSC, that's what our NOA1 stated.

This journey has such ups and downs. I still have not seen our NOA1 in the mail....and now knowing that you got yours I get nervous wondering why it hasn't shown up. I am sure it will come soon...it is just ridiculous us and downs.
Good luck everyone. I am sure your NOA1's will be coming soon! Keep the faith....

I hear ya. The waiting and not knowing sucks. If it's any consolation, it does seem that CSC is picking up the pace a little bit. And they're also honoring the real received date.
Best of luck!

Congratulations to those who've got NOA1. You gave me hope. No news for me yet. I gave up on trying to figure out a system by which they do things. Those September filers who have received NOA1 so far, their dates of filing I-129 have been all over the map. CSC are not opening packages by the order of their arrival. My only hope is that they honor the date they received our petition.

I submitted My I-129F to the California service center in mid September.
I have not heard a word from them, no NOA1, no recipt number, and
they have not cashed the check. The USCIS web sit says for I-129F apps,
at the California Service Center, they have processed are up to
October 16 applications. I have called the service number 1-800-375-5283.
They give me no help. They cant tell me if they lost the application and will
not look to see if it was mixed up with another group of apps. When I ask what
I should do they have no answer. Is anyone else in this boat? Does anyone
have any suggestions?
Thanks
Mike

First off, I feel your pain. Not knowing if it's even been stuck in a box somewhere is the worst. The good news is that CSC seems to be moving on September filers now. I and others are starting to get their NOA1 and checks cashed. You submitted your packet about the same time I sent mine, so hopefully you should be seeing your check cashed very soon.
The good news is that USCIS are honoring the original received date. So if they received your packet on September 15th, that's where you will be processed from.
Hope that helps!

hey guys... were new here
anyways.. we sent our K1 docs at CSC last September 5. They received it September 6.
We got our receipt case number just this week (through the hotline operators), we checked our case status online and it says that they received our papers November 2. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!!

its stated in the uscis website that they will honor the exact date that the k1 was received in their mail room. now why is it November 2? we called the customer service again and theyre saying that whats posted in the site is wrong!

can't believe these people.. but oh well, at least we have a case number... something to look forward too.
now waiting for the hard copy and for the check to be encashed.
good luck and god bless us all!

I have a very similar timeline. My package was received on Sept 6 at CSC, and cash was checked on Nov 2. When I signed online it said the same thing. But when my NOA1 Hardcopy arrived it showed the correct receive date. So no worries. It should be fine. No worries!
