Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that we, Chuck and Rose, have returned to the US together. Everything went so smooth and I am very thankful. The POE was too easy. The guy asked her if she knew how long she had to get married. She replied, "Yes, 90 days." The guy then said make sure you do it or you will have to go back and we were out of there. Good luck to all on the upcoming interviews.

Great news, congratulations!!

Well everyone - consider me an April VSC I-129F filer....

....My SO had her medical last Tuesday and when she went to pick up the results the docs said they found something on the x-ray. She has to wait another 10 weeks before she gets her visa. So mid or late June. Not too bad, at least waiting unknown amounts of time on the NOA2 and packet 3's are all over with.

..The university I attend offers a summer 1 session that ends early June 20's so it works out perfectly. I am going to take 12 credits in the 8 week summer 1 session so I will keep busy.

...Worst part of this all is I bought the airplane tickets in advance so I had to put them on hold ($100 fee per ticket times 2 tickets). At least the tickets are paid for and come June I will only need to pay $200. Oh, and we ( I ) might get stuck with a $400 medical bill. But she is healthy and everything is okay other than this 10 week unexpected delay.

Some people in Juarez, Mexico were saying that occasionally the doctors will victimize people that look like easy targets so that they get extra money into their pockets. I don't think this is the case but I know a lot of places are full of corruption so it wouldn't surprise me.

That sucks thegrategate. I hope everything turns out for the best. I was worried about my fiancée's xray because about 2/3 of the philippines has TB. Hope everything goes fast for you.

Well I am off to the Philippines in about an hour. Arrive the 15th, interview the 16th. If everything goes well I will coming back on the 1st of May!

Wow! Really GREAT to hear you guys having the interview date already, while Brian and I are still waiting for our P3. Well, China customs is still working on our packet for clear... We will have to wait a bit longer for P3, P4 and our interview date. However, right after P3, the waiting will be a lot easier for us!

I haven't been here for a long while, but I give my best lucks to all of us!

Just thought I would drop in after a long absence.

I am back in NZ at the moment and have my interview up in Auckland this coming Tuesday, 29 April - looking forward to getting up there and getting through it and getting the visa in my passport. Jo is at home with me at the moment too, so wel will both go up for the interview.

Hi everyone!

I woke up this mourning just to casually check my e-mail, not expecting anything from the USCIS. So I checked my e-mail and found, in the middle of alot of junk mail, two e-mails from CSC saying that my I-129F and I-130 have been APPROVED!

What happened last week was I called Senator John McCain's office in Tuscon, AZ, since I live in Arizona. I talked to his secretary, and gave her all the information about my case, and how I filed in September and was delayed. The secretary told me that they will do everything they can to help me. They contacted CSC last week, CSC replied them the next day and told the secretary to give them 30 to 45 days to make a disicion on my applications. So McCain's office called me and told me this and the next day I recieved a letter from them jsut stating in writing what they told me over the phone. I have to call them to update and thank them for their help. Now only after a fews days of them calling the CSC, I am approved. I should have called them earlier for help. Anyway now on to the NVC, God Willing!

There was a problem with her finger scanning and the embassy didn't even call us. I had to call to see what was taking so long for the visa to be delivered. They knew 5 days before I even called. Now she has to wait until tomorrow to rescan her finger...If we can't pick up the visa on wednesday we won't be flying home together on Thursday. I don't get why the embassy doesn't call when they know there is a problem...

Sorry to hear this! I hope everything will be smoother, and you can fly to the USA together! These things happen in China here as well... Nowadays, we have to wait for several days till having the visa in hand. Anyway, you are still luckier than us, as we are still waiting for our P3! For this, you can cheer up soon again! HAHA.

We are waiting for our P3 still too... It was sent to GUZ, China on Feb. 29th though. I know we will have to wait for a little longer... My bottom line for this is Middle May. I could be mad for these soon, I guess...

I called DOS yesterday and P3 was sent on 4-25. This is very fast for China! Only a 2 month wait from leaving NVC sending till P3.

Well she didn't get the visa in time so I am here in Taipei airport alone waiting for my connecting flight to LA. Worst part is seeing the empty seat next to me and knowing my Fiancée was supposed to be there.

I completely know your feeling. I travelled back alone after Kathys F1 student visa was denied. I ended up staying a few extra days, so there was no empty seat, but she was still suppose to be with me.

Did you get a blue slip? What needs to be done?

With this kind of visa, it isn't a matter of 'if' but 'when'. Keep at it and you will succeed.

No blue slip. We got the pink slip. They just had to redo the finger scanning and never told us. When we called to see what was taking so long they told us. By then it was too late for her to come home.

I say Congrats! She most certainly will get the visa, but just a matter of finishing the little matters. Sadly, the timing of coming here with you just didn't work out.

VISA IN-HAND!

I had my interview in Auckland on Tuesday - went very smoothly, they were just waiting on my Police Report. My Police Report arrived to them on Wednesday and I got my passport back yesterday with the visa in it!

We are flying back to the US on 28 May so are going to enjoy our last few weeks here in NZ.

One more point for the September Filers team! Just got back from Chile where we passed the interview on April 30. Very anti-climatic to be honest. Now just waiting for the visa to show up to make a mid-may flight reservations.
