estadia, I didn't catch you because your timeline still says Nebraska. You should really change it to CSC.

mox plz tell me how to do that cuz it has been changed to California Service Center for a while now so i dont know how to change it so it shows that when other people view it.........

Okay...a couple things going on here:

1) You're right, you did change the service center in your timeline. I didn't see you in the CSC timeline because you are actually an August filer, not a September filer. You received NOA1 in September, but you actually filed August 10.

2) Your VJ profile still says Nebraska. That doesn't matter too much, no statistics are collected off it. However, if you want to change your profile from Nebraska to California, just click on the "My Controls" link at the top of the page (light blue bar), then "Edit Profile Information." Under "Place Benefits Filed at" you'll see the drop-down where you can change from Nebraska to California.

Wow, didn't realise there was still VSC filers waiting. Since i'm smack in the middle of the above list, I'll just say my current timeline in my mind is any time between 2 weeks and 4 months. I can't yet tell if they are doing anything about my September date. A Congressional inquiry is going in on monday to ask that it be recognized, so i'll see in alittle while I suppose. If they stone wall my congressman then attorney's are sending an expedite request, and if thats denied they'll contact the ombudsman. If precedent is being considered here, my case is like Charlene's and they stonewalled that case all the way down the line and even made a third error by sending it to the wrong embassy.

You've had it rough lance. I literally log in every day hoping to see an "approved" message from you. I really REALLY hope the congressional inquiry works and they push it through and then freaking courier it by hand to NVC. Okay, I know they won't courier it by hand, but dammit, they should.

How do you check to see if consulate recieved your case? I feel clueless now.. thanks

Don't use the automated status, they don't track K visas on the automated system. Talk to an operator (I think it's option 1, then option 5, but don't hold me to that), give him/her your USCIS case number. They will ask for the beneficiary's name and birth date for verification.

Just got our (well Rose's) medical of March 12 and interview March 28. This September filer can finally see a dim light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, I had my first 2 of the 3 medicals yesterday, and the 3rd will be on Monday.

Interview on Friday 14th! Should be back home in my man's arms on Tuesday!

Just had the last of my medicals. Costa Rica is now requiring all vaccinations for K1s to be completed prior to visa issuance....ERGH! I didn't have my vax records with me and fully expected to be a pincushion this morning, but I ended up only requiring Hep B, Varicella & Tetanus. Phew!!

Although Hep B HURTS!!!

Ugh...shots. I don't envy you that. But just think about being one step closer when you're sitting there getting poked.

We are here in Manila at the Cherry Blossoms hotel waiting for our interview on Thursday. The hotel is fine and is across the street from a huge mall, making it very handy for eating, internet cafe and killing time.

Everything seems to be going well. We will ask for an early visa pickup and if all goes well I hope to bring Jocelyn home on Thursday, March 20th.

We have met several other couples here and so far I have not found Manila to be as bad as people say. During my first two trips to the Philippines I passed through Manila, but spent my time in Cebu.

just called USE call center.. they said they made a mistake.. its not March 14. appointments will be made March 19!
they also said check their website for updates. i did. and its the same

they made a mistake? the last call i made was yesterday and they keep on insisting to call on the 14th! now that its 14 they say they made a mistake and call again on the 19th! this is unbelievable, terrible, and frustrating.

Yup. Same thing here. I calmed down now but I was so pissed. I'm tired of this. I was looking forward all week to getting my interview date today, but they really let me down

Update..we are married..he got here wed and got married the next day..its been busy week!!finish up all of his vaccination because he did not get Td shot in the philippines and another MMR..we paid $72 for CS to transcribed his record to I-693A..ready to send the AOS and etc on Tues..anyway, we could not take ourselves apart ..im so happy!!
