Ohh, Brian thought it was just a "Touch", but now, I am checking carefully. I kinda believe it's just an approval!!! I sent him a text message, but it seems it didn't wake him up... In some words, I can't believe my eyes!! I hope he was just careless enough to think it's only a "Touch". When he told me this in my morning, I said to myself: "What?! Only a TOUCH?!" I bet he will wake up in the early morning, read my text message and call me... Time is just crawling... ( I guess I am a bit excited!!! )

Thanks for the kind words everyone, it was definately approved the 13th! We didn't get an email though. I tried setting it up to send both of us an email. Just did the usual and seperated the email addresses by a comma, so far nothing. ohhh well. It was worth a try.

I'm excited, but I worry the most about the consulate phase. I'll just be really happy when we have the visa in hand.

I just spoke to the Embassy in Costa Rica and my papers for the interview are ready to be picked up (mail in Costa Rica = BADNESS so they don't mail them). Now if only my damn Police check from Australia would hurry up and arrive, my process would be done!

Congrats Eric!! Did you do anything to hurry it along? I got my NOA2 on 1/31, a few days before you,and haven't heard yet.

I didn't do anything special. I just called every day. Today when I first called around 12pm EST the lady told me that they just received my case but wasn't entered into the system. When I asked when to call back she told me 15 days. Well I called at 6pm EST and they had it entered in the computer and were able to give me my case number. Probably after the 3 day weekend it will be shipped to the Consulate.

Philippines doesn't have a packet 3 only a packet 4. But I have most things prepared for the packet 4 already. But yeah I suggest calling Tuesday.

Hi everyone.. I just received a paper at home(USA) from 1005 terminal way suite , reno nevada stating that I need to fill out form I-134 form and sent it to my fiance for the Interview... Has anyone else received anything like this? WAS I SUPPOSE TO RECEIVE THIS PAPER? I'm so confused !

no worries geostefan! after ur approval, USCIS will send u the NOA2 in mail.. then another letter from NVC.. I-134 (Affidavit of Support) form MUST be submitted. Follow the instructions on how to fill up the form and you should send the ORIGINAL I-134 to your fiance. She needs it during her visa interview..

Thank you for your answer. The paper was from my lawyer to let me know that I need to fill that out and sent it to my fiance.

I went to see my baby and on the day i left the US he found NOA2 in the mail!!!!! We got approved on the 14th!!!! That's a Happy Valentine's Day :D:D
This is the best feeling in the world!!!! I cried.

I have almost given up hope of ever getting our NOA2. Its been 5 months since we sent off our paperwork, its a long, lonely wait. Thankfully I have managed to scrape some money together to visit my hun in March, funds are tight but it will be worth it. I feel for those who have not seen their SO's for such a long time. I hope we all get the news that we so rightly deserve soon. I am praying for us all. Angela xxx

Don't give up hope. I'm in the same boat you are. In fact, CSC received my petition about 5 days before they received yours and I'm still waiting. We all knew going in to this process that we were going to have to learn a thing or two about patience, but it's at the end that we experience the worst of it and have our mettle tested the most. Hang in there!
