I have have known my fiancee about 2 years !!! I filed in may. I got the receipt on may 12th from CA , I have attorney , have had no reply back , is now 4 months ,,,, anyone know why ? This is taking so long ? Why are we taking longer then the historical trends for others for same visa listed on this site ????? Is there anyone know any way to spend things up? my attorney says cant do nothing until 30 days after the posting date on the immigration site from California .

Four months isn't all that bad, it has been worse. If you can't get any satisfaction from the USCIS I suggest you contact your elected representative.

All of us May filers on here feel your pain and aniexty. Had we filed last year at this time we would have all been long approved and already had our paperwork at the consulat. To bad we did not have a crystal ball.
I understand that VJ members only respresent a very small portion of visa petitions at USCIS. What I do not understand is how come more people on here are not approved on a daily basis. Proportionally, you would think one or two a day would get approved.
