My US citizen wife pettiioned for our children(x2) and was approved in May 2007,unfortunately even though our address has not changed the approved petition(NOA) was returned as undeliverable by Post Office. We saw this over on the internet,so we called and requested for the mails.Fortunately and unfortunately we received only one of the mails(NOA) for the children.
In the NOA it states that "the above petition has been approved" and NVC will contact us directly. Now, my concern is,it's been more than 90 days and have not even received a receipt from NVC, our receipt numbers from USCIS is not in their system from the automated phone number(6033340700).
I am desperate and do not know what to do.What can I do to let NVC know about my approved case just to receive a receipt telling me my case has been received. Please help.

Once the NVC approves your case, they will assign you a case number for your children. If you have not heard from them, you just have to wait, it can take up to 3 years depending on the age of the children, if they are below the age of 21, the wait time can be less. I want to Know if you have actually received a case number from NVC. If not you just have to wait, they will respond once they get to it. It takes them for ever, just be patient. But give me more info and I can give you specific info, because I have a similar case. Good luck

You just have to keep calling NVC and speak to a live operator. 603 334 0700 option 1 then 5.
