Approvals are coming soon. They are just resting now...for a few weeks. Employee's are completely worn out at both Service Centers VSC, and CSC, from the fee increases. They will be back and ready to work, and our approvals will come in the soonest time possible.

Poor dears...I guess a 6 month vacation is definitely needed.

Forgive me from sounding, ahh, skeptical, but what proof do you have that this will actually be happening?

Can't you imagine very exhausted workers at the Service Centers? The fee increases added to their workloads tremendously. They received 4 times the normal daily amount of 3,000 petitions a day at CSC alone. Please allow them to rest...So they may come back refreshed.....Do not burden them with unecessary phone calling..As this slows down processing of customers waiting for approval over 130 days already.

The adjudicators don't answer the phone. And I'll believe it about the NOA2s when I see it.

Where did you hear that Adjudicators don't answer phones? The adjudicators have many tasks. Phone answering is a part of their duties as well.

Well, in all the time I've been on this board I have NEVER heard that adjudicators answer the phones. They have cusotmer service reps for that who do not actually know anything significant about case files.

What is this? Feel sorry for the USCIS day? tongue_ss.gif Allow them to rest? By all means, if you would like to volunteer and take one for the team by increasing your adjudication date by a few months so these workers can get their much needed rest....please go right ahead. laughing.gif

You cannot tell me that you've no sympathy for the exhausted workers. They also have families to go home to. Can you imagine the piles of petitions on each desk??? They have an alloted time of 15 minutes for processing each petition. Their break times are short. Some adjudicators have been skipping lunch...just trying to catch up...I know their job is not as easy as we may think. They are dedicated to assisting us with our petitions. We must allow them their rest time... biggrin.gif yes.gif biggrin.gif

OK, I think you are being sarcastic and not serious...at least I hope not. I have absolutely no sympathy for them. That is their job.

Yes...You are right. I heard that USCIS visits here once in awhile, and I was hoping they would read positive things that I've said about them. As to speed up our process. Do you think it will work? laughing.gif no0pb.gif laughing.gif
Jamie76
No...don't think it helps...although who knows....they aren't approving petitions, so there is a pretty good chance they are spending most of their day surfing the internet.

No job is easy, it's your efficiency or lack there of that allows your job to be easy or hard. There is a procedure to follow in every work place, so there is no need to skip lunch. Are you trying to say that each person can process 130 cases per week ( 15 minutes per petition) whistling.gif are you sure your waiting on an approval? YOU sure don't sound too anxious to be with you SO. BTW they are not ASSISTING us they are doiung their jobs, that's what they get paid to do. headbonk.gif headbonk.gif

I am more than sure that adjudicators DO NOT aswer phones!!! They have to have operators that are trained to give the answers we all get when we call!!

I THINK THE BOTTOM LINE IS.. YOU PAID TO GET SOMETHING DONE.. IT'S LIKE PAYING SOMEBODY OR A COMPANY TO DO SOMETHING.. AND IT MUST BE DONE THE WAY THEY PROMISED OR CLAIMED... THEY GIVE YOU A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME THAT IT WILL BE DONE.. AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE..

WE ARE CUSTOMERS..AND CITIZENS.. THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!! LIKE IN OUR DAILY JOBS.. IF THERE IS A DEADLINE TO MEET..IT MUST BE MET.. BUT I GUESS IT DOESN'T WORK THIS WAY..AFTER ALL WE ARE DEALING WITH THE GOVERNMENT.. SO THERE IS PRETTY MUCH NOTHING WE CAN DO EVEN THOUGH WE RANT AND RANT AND COMPLAIN..

USCIS is swamped with petitions HB-1 and K-1's, and its not the fault of the workers at the service centers, so we must just be patient.
I'm sure they are working hard under difficult conditions, not of their making. I think we all need to just stay positive and support eachother, we will get there.

I do understand the work load..but what I am so kinda mad is that the should not claim THAT THEY WILL PROCESS IT IN ORDER THEY HAVE RECEIVED. THEY RECEIVED A LOT OF CASES BEFORE THE INCREASE IN FEES.. AND THEY KNEW THIS A LOOOOONG WAY BACK. SO HOWCOME PEOPLE THAT FILED BACK IN JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL..ARE STILL WAITING? THERE ARE SOME THAT ARE STILL WAITING.. WHILE OTHERS WHO FILED IN MAY, JULY, AND EVEN AUGUST HAVE APPROVALS ALREADY.. THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT REALLY BOTHERS ME.. THEY INCREASE THEIR FEES BUT NOT THEIR SYSTEM OR THE WAY THEY HANDLE THINGS BACK THERE.. JUST MY TWO CENTS..

What sucks is that alot of the HB-1 petitions are fast tracked because companies pay an extra fee to USCIS so they can maintain/increase their work force. I would gladly pay an extra fee if my visa could be fast tracked. I agree with kits_24 _faith, the applications should be processed in the order they were received. No one is more important than anyone else when filing a visa petition mad.gif

please stop shouting, Kits_24_Faith; it's giving me a headache wink.gif

they may well still be 'processing' petitions in the order in which they were received, but as some will take longer to finish processing than others, some will receive RFEs, etc, the finalising of the petitions may take longer... doesn't mean they're lying; just that processing thousands of the damn things simply can't happen in a perfectly linear fashion smile.gif
