My mom is coming to visit us in October. She is flying through Washington Dulles airport and only has 1 hour and 20 minutes there. Does someone have experience going through immigration and customes there? Do you think she would have sufficient time to make it to her next local flight?

thats not a lot of time at all..i would try changing her flight.because I remember i was at washington and i was stuck there for almost 5 hours..

It is very easy to connect through Washington Airport, but if your Mom doesn't speak English or just a little, I would suggest to rebook the flight to the next available departure. 1 hour 20 minutes is ok for somebody who knows his way around,but not for people who are not familiar with airport procedures! Rebook the connecting flight,if you can.
