Hi all, I am from Myanmar(Burma) and I plan to visit to Hong Kong next month. When I asked the Chinese embassy they told me I can get 2 weeks for Tourist visa. But If possible I want to stay more longer around 2 months. When I search information from internet I could see that I can extend my Hong Kong tourist visa.
But I want to know that how many times can I extend my Tourist visa while I am staying in Hong Kong and or how long can I stay a cumulative period of days?
If anyone from Hong Kong please help me to get this information.

I'm not from Hong Kong however I am familiar with the immigration process as I hold dual nationality and residency, one of the countries being Hong Kong. You might want to check this website http://www.gov.hk/en/residents/immigration/index.htm It has all the official and updated information you might need. I am curious though why you would want to stay so long, are you planning on working? If that is the case you would need to apply for work permit while you are there. They are very public and cracking down on that more than they do in the US. Anyway, all that is on the website too.
Hong Kong is amazing! I didn't realize it was so big until I flew over it.

Thank you for the site. It is very helpful. We plan to meet in Hong Kong with my fiance, US citizen. So if possible I want to stay longer in Hong Kong. About applying job, I still haven't any plan but if it is needed I will study while I am in Hong Kong. But right now I still could not get any information that how long can I stay in Hong Kong(cumulative period of days) . I hope someone could help me to get this information. Thank you.
