sept. 4th i have mailed my i-129f and up until now there's no respond or any calls.

is that normal or should i take any action regarding to that matter?

It is pretty normal. Hopefully you will get an NOA1 within a month but we sent our petition on 23rd April and didn't hear anything else until the NOA2 on 27th August. If you sent a personal cheque with your application you can check with the bank to see when it is cashed and get your case number (beginning WAC) from the back of it.

It's normal. Some people have waited for a month.

It's normal... Almost usually got NOA1 around 3 weeks up.. Wish you get NOA1 soon...

Which service center did you use? Receipting is faster at VSC (Vermont) than CSC (California) and postage is not so fast for the return NOA1. My petition is at VSC, who got it on 8/30. They prepared the NOA1 on 9/4 (date on the form), mailed it 9/6 (postmark), but I didn't actually get it until 9/10.

Nebraska SC received our petition on 5/25 and we have NEVER received a hard copy of NOA1. We got our number off the back of our check. Good luck toyou

at this time i feel kind of lonely because soon my fiancee is going back to japan and this might be the longest waiting ever. however, i can visit her anytime to break the loneliness...
