we just got our packet 3 and when we tried to download them from the embassy site we noticed that some of the forms had expired. can we still use these?
the ds-156 expires september 30th this year
the ds-156k expires back in 2004.
any advise please.

If you get it from the USCIS web site then the forms are good.

Actually, USCIS won't have those forms - the DS-156 and DS-156K forms are part of the Department of State. This is where you can find the most current forms online: http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html
