I've listed in my timeline that I got a touch on the 28th of July.

My NOA1 date is the 23rd, and I received it on the 27th.

However, on the 28th, I created my account online with USCIS. It then listed it as last updated on the 28th.

Did I really get a touch? Or was this just a result of the account creation?

I always just assumed it was a touch but I've had some doubt about that lately.

Its probably them making a note in the system that your NOA1 was sent. most of us have a touch just as we receive our NOA1.

was the result of the account creation, just repeating what your NOA1 stated to you smile.gif

Actually according to...Bill y Bella I believe, touching is *not* necessarily a good thing.

I can't find his/her post though that it was said in.

I think it's routine. Most of us get a touch within a day or 2 of being put into the system.
