It's that time again. After a long lull, it's time to prep for yet another filing to USCIS.

I went through the Removal of Conditions instructions document on USCIS.GOV and came up with the following checklist for submission. Any thoughts/comments on this will be most helpful.

  2. Document showing joint mortgage - photocopy
  3. Document/document showing joint checking/savings - should demonstrate period of time and balance - photocopy
  4. Document showing joint savings (second account) - should also demonstrate period of time and balance - photocopy
  5. Document showing joint brokerage account - should demonstrate period of time and holdings - photocopy
  6. 1040 transcript 2005 - photocopy
  7. 1040 transcript 2006 - photocopy
  8. Document showing joint auto insurance - photocopy
  9. Utiility bill showing both names - most recent and the oldest I can find (2) - photocopies
  10. 401K doc showing wife as beneficiary (account #1) photocopy
  11. 401K doc showing wife as beneficiary (account #2) photocopy
  12. 401K doc showing wife as beneficiary (account #3) photocopy
  13. IRA doc showing me as beneficiary - photocopy
  14. Document showing wife as beneficiary on life insurance - photocopy
  15. Documents showing wife as spouse on medical/dental/vision insurance - photocopies

Looks like you have a lot of "power".
An additional thing you might submit is the affidavits from from 2 peeps.
More ammo the better!
The IO at our AOS told me when we applied for removing conditions if we hit them with "both barrels" there would be a good chance we'd be approved without an interview.
Told me to be sure and resubmit the trust I have for my family as it has a lot of power.

Looks good. What about copies of your drivers licenses showing the same address. We did also include 2 affidavits even though they aren't required, but I just wanted to anyway. But you have a lot of good stuff.

a couple of pictures of the two of you together wouldn't hurt, IMHO. smile.gif

Good idea.

However, when I read USCIS-published I-751 instructions, I can't help but notice that in their list of "examples", they don't explicitly mention items like photographs or greeting cards. Am I reading too much into it if I come away with the impression that the items explicitly listed as examples have more weight as evidence than items that are not?

You're probably right, but paranoia is a "wonderful" part of the process, remember? Which is why we also sent in a few pictures and some greeting card copies. tongue.gif (along with the non-required affidavit! lol)

Paranoia. I had forgotten all about that. Life was good and now suddenly I know what an RFE is again.
