When refered to the 90th day from filing, what date do I go by? do I go by the date on my NOA1 notice date (not 100% sure here)? Sorry if this was a stupid question, its just that I want to make sure if my case does reach 90 days I want to know from what day I should be counting from. Thanks. -Ru

So just to help me lol ...
on the 91st day after you recieve your NOA1 (the NOA directly after they cash your checks?) you can ask for a temporary EAD?

NOA date is not correct. It's 90 days since receipt of your application by USCIS. Receipt date is 3-7 days ahead of NOA date, so you are eligible for the interim 90 a few days earlier than if you went by NOA date. The receipt date is on your NOA.
If you look at the instructions on the I-765, that's where the receipt date is mentioned. When you go to the local office, bring a copy of these instructions to show to the people you speak to if necessary.

That is correct unless you receive a RFE, in which case the count starts again from the date RFE is sent back in...
