hey vj'ers!

My priority date is 05/23/2007 on my NOA1 and the Notice Date is 08/02/2007 which is when I called to see why I had never received my NOA1. I should have called 2 or 3 weeks after I sent my application in.

I'm assuming I should have my NOA2 by end of the month as everyone going through CSC is running approx. 120 days after NOA1.

Would this be a good assumption?

Thanks!

Notice date is simply the date that the physical piece of paper was printed. Next month, if you get a new printout, the notice date will change.

Priority date or Receieved date is what they will use to queue your application. There is no guarantee that it will be processed in 120 days. USCIS is currently advertising that they expect to complete it within 180 days.

That being said, you can look to the estimates and averages on the timelines here to get a better estimate of when you can expect an approval, but each and every case is different.

Best of luck!
