Hello friends. I have tried on email the new delhi embassy on several occasions and i get an automated response back saying that all the information i need can be found on their website. I have even put in my case number and "request for specific information" in the title of the email. I really need to get in touch with them and ask when my husband can come drop off the packet 3. what can i do to ensure they receive my email. thanks.

thats weird... because i emailed them friday asking if they have received my petition from nvc and they replied back within 2 hours.. without an automated response. so from what i figure.. even though i get the automated response i will also a great a personalized response in a day or two... correct? thanks.

Yes. If you put your case number in the title; and they have your case number; then they will respond in 2 days.

or else they will ignore you.

so... if you were checking to see if they have received your case; send them an e-mail. when they reply to you; you know they have your case.

yes i am checking to see if they have our case... and also to ask when to come drop off the packet 3. see my husband lives in a pretty remote area in punjab and the courier/postal service is unreliable and thats why we are just wanting to make this extra trip to delhi and drop it off. we want some type of reassurance that they will accept the packet 3... if he does make this trip so thats why i wanted it in writing via email. oh well lets see what happens.
