Hello All,
The NVC automated system says that our CR1 case was transferred to Mumbai consulate on 8/24/07. I have the following questions:
- Do I or my spouse need to do anything at this point besides waiting for the interview letter? We are working on collecting the docs required for the interview in the meantime.
- Any idea how long it's taking Mumbai consulate to schedule the interview once they receive the file from NVC. Based on other postings, I am guessing that it takes about a week for the consulate to receive the file from NVC and I think they should have it by now.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I am not sure if Packet 3 is required for CR1, but if it is you should download it from their website and submit it.
Thanks

Hi,
Mumbai Embassy schedules the Interview in the middle of the month around 15 to 17 day of the month. I think they will give you interview date ok November as they Schedule the interview this month. If you dont get the interview letter in next 5 days; email NVC and Mumbai Consulate.
God bless

Thanks ze22, Sandip and Jigi for your responses.
Packet 3 is probably not needed in our case, since it contains DS-230, which we submitted to NVC. But I will check with the consulate if I do not hear for a week or so. We did not make the September dates. I am thinking maybe November.
Good luck to all of you!
