Congrats!...and if this is your first your life will changed forever, for the better we all hope ...I told my gown & married with kids daughters they went "brain dead" on me when they turned 13 and haven't decided to wake-up yet.
They just ignored me.

The best thing in the world - your son's smile!
Congratulations, and don't listen to stuff about the sleep deprivation and other great things like that. It does happen but believe me in a blink of an eye Sasha will be out and late much after the curfew and you'll be sitting there wondering where those fun days with sleep deprivation went and why they went so fast!!! So enjoy it when it lasts!

Well its now been a week since all of us got home and you can tell the boy has Russian blood in him. Elena and I both think he is on Siberian time, he is up all night and sleeps during the day. We are both very happy and very tired. Soon I know things will turn around and settle down a bit. Our joy is only masked by our exhaustion but we will make it.
Yeah slim everyone asked me what we had I just replied human.

Congrats on the arrival of your son!!!! He's a cutie!!!!
He will soon fall into a "normal" routine and the whole family will get back to it's regular ways, but not before a few more sleepness nights, I'm afraid. Enjoy him...... they grow up so fast..... my oldest just turned 26 last Saturday and I feel like I just had him!!!!

If someone asks I tell them that he is a RusoPol American (Im inventing my own ethnicities) Im Polish (mostly) Shes Russian it only makes sense.

Sounds pretty accurate.
I wonder, in your new ethnicities categories, is there anything like an "Appalassian?" (my roots are mostly Appalachian, the "uppity" or more PC way of saying Hillbilly and she's mostly Russian) or maybe a "Russialachian" would be better?

Or maybe Appaluso - wait isnt that a horse well close enough. I like Russialachian or maybe even Rusolachian. I think we should all invent our own ethnicities and throw them into the melting pot maybe we can get government grants or perhaps make claims to being original inhabitants(the bering land bridge where the eastern russians crossed following the mammoth) and we can build casinos and make millions, who needs the lottery when we can bilk the poor european descended slobs out of their hard earned cash. First Michigan then North America the WORLD IS MINE!!!!!!

Sep 18 2007, 08:23 PM
You are making a movie, is it "G" rated? Whats it about?
Hey what do you mean Im a funny dude? Funny ha ha, funny strange or funny like a 3 dollar bill?
Can you tell I havent slept much in the past few days.

I don't think I'd ever get away with a "G" rating. Too much Russian dialogue.
Thomas-n-Elena
Sep 21 2007, 04:53 PM
Will it be subtitled? I think you should do it in English and subtitle in Russian that way my wife can read a movie for a change.
Whats your movie about, does it have a love story, everyone likes a good love story, or fishing there could be guys fishing for trout or maybe its about a guy taking a long walk and all the stuff he sees.

The first one is going to be a heist/international love story/comedy.
The second depends on the success of the first.
Thomas-n-Elena
Oct 20 2007, 08:53 AM
Will it be based on a true story?
Well if the first movie goes over well the second could be:
The criminals from the first movie in a fit of conscience begin to argue decided they dont trully love each other and give the loot back to whomever they stole it from.
What do you think they will steal? Money, art, jewels.... Wait how about they steal the identity of everyone in a small country say Vietnam, then sell those identities to the entire native american population in south dakota which will be forced to rename the capital to Ho Chi Minh City, talk about a flash back for all those vets who go to Sturgis on their motorcycles. Now that is heist/ international intrigue/ comedy.
One of my coworkers and I were discussing doing a modern day interpretation of the the bible but as a comedy. Scenes like:
The wedding at Canaan being busted by the ATF when Jesus turned the water into wine(Alchohol production without a license)
The coast guard boarding the Ark and asking Noah "Are you transporting any livestock or plants and do you have authorization"
The health department hassling Jesus at the sermon on the mount and giving him a "D" rating for unsanitary food prep conditions.
The Apostles getting harrassed by the police for gang activity
Just a few thoughts we are still working on it

That's some funny stuff!
I would love to see that done. You'd get some good free publicity too because it would be in the media forever.
Thomas-n-Elena
Oct 21 2007, 03:34 PM
Well why pay for publicity when you can get it done for free.
Good examples : Paris Hilton, Kim Kardasian, Tom Cruise etc

Nope I was going to get in an argument with Matt Lauer and tell him I know the history of psychology and he doesnt.!!!!
